WHY WE AGE
A 2D cut-paper animation created for children and teens
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Audience: Middle school students ages 10-14
Software: Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Duik Bassel Plugin
Intended Purpose: I created a cut-paper style 2D animation visualizing a key aspect to human aging: telomeres. I aimed to create an engaging and inspiring animation for young audiences while simultaneously weaving in a clear and didactic story. I employed symbolism throughout the animation to make scientific topics more digestible and relatable.
